Float or Sink?

You could also fill a basin with water and use items you can find at home and record if they sink or float possibly using a chart to record your findings.

Some items you could try may be:  A cork a button 

an apple                     a stone 

a lemon                      a key 

a lime                          a small ball 

metal spoon               toy car 

plastic spoon             kitchen roll
